Unsociability vs. Friendship

Humans are a sociable species.
That is 100% true---- in the Stone Age! At a time when humans needed to form groups in order to defend themselves from predators and to provide food. But at this cyber age, human relationships have been altered in many ways. Being sociable is now related to activity on facebook and other "social" networks.
Friendship is overrated in my opinion, true friends are hard -if not impossible- to find; that if friends are found not made. The real friend, the true friend is the unselfish person that cares about his friend. The way to identify one's friend is to watch their behavior at times of his need and sadness, and to see if they accept his weird behavior and humiliating habits.
That's way they say in arabic:قل لي من تعاشر اقول لك من انت
Well that's exactly true, if our friends aren't like us and don't resemble us in personality, they won't understand our behavior = no more friendship between different people.

So maybe..just maybe we are social creatures after all..I think that depends on rather we have found real  friends/people who resemble us. It might be nice to have someone you really care about and that really cares about you too.. Your actions might become more important. But I'm still convinced that the best friend you can ever have and that won't ever hurt you because of his deep knowledge to your inner thoughts is YOU!

This post was inspired by a group of friends I met today :) I hope their friendship is as clean as it looks.
